Hack your HTC HD2 (LEO) : STEP III (b.2) - INSTALL ANDROID 4.4.4 KITKAT

The world's most customizable phone, is the HD2. It can run anything from Windows Mobile 6 (That is comes pre-installed with) to Windows Phone 7.8, to the latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. And we're going to tell you how to do it. Today, we'll tell you how to install the latest android 4.4.4 KitKat!!

What Doesn't Work and the Workaround

1. "Black screen" (webpage not refreshes itself) in some apps (Workaround: disable apps' Hardware Acceleration via Hwa Settings)
2. Black screen in the panorama mode of the camera. (Workaround: Download any 3rd party camera app from the Play Store
3. Wi-Fi hotspot Security. (Workaround: Install WiFi Tether for Root Users 3.x and go to setting to change "Device-Profile" to "Google NexusOne" and select "Enable WiFi-Encryption" and "WiFi-driver reload".)

Steps

1. Without extracting, place the downloaded file in your SD Card
2. Switch off your phone
3. Boot into Magldr by holding the power button
4. Navigate to 8.AD Recovery
5. Go to Install Zip From SD Card 
6. Select Choose Zip From SD Card
7. Select the file you downloaded
8. Aroma Installer will open
9. You have the option of Installing in NAND (Internal Memory) , NAND with Data on EXT (System - Internal Memory, Data - SD Card) , NATIVE SD (SD Card)
10. Install it on NAND if you have the model with 1 GB RAM, and on NAND with Data on EXT with 512 MB RAM. You can select Native SD if you want in any model, though.
11. Follow the instructions on the screen
12. Click Reboot Now.
13. Congrats! You just install the latest Android KitKat to your HD2!!!
