When released, The Xolo Q1000 was priced at 15,000 though at the time of writing the price was ₹12,000. This amazing smartphone comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display with a 294 PPI density. It's a dual sim phone with a 1.2 GHz Quad Core MT6589 processor for smooth and fast multitasking. Here are some specs, and what I think of them according to my usage :-

I) 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor

Quoted in the Xolo Website :

"Q1000 is powered by the cutting-edge 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor.

Experience faster application launches, run multiple apps without any lags and a super smooth user interface."

What I think :

"This is a great processor with the MT6589 chip. Everything stated above is true. I have used 6 launchers, i.e. The Stock Android Home ; Google Experience Launcher ; Touchwiz Home ; Facebook Home ; Buzz launcher with no lag in any of them instead of Facebook Home. And that too because... well, because my internet speed is slow. Games run great without any lag and the experience is great."

II) Android Jelly Bean 4.2

Quoted in the Xolo Website :

"Enjoy the beauty of speed and simplicity. Jelly Bean 4.2 for easier content sharing, more reactive and uniform touch responses and better power optimization."

What I think :

"Android Jelly Bean 4.2, though not the latest Android out there, works so good with the processor, the screen and well... the whole phone just like bread and butter, pasta with sauce, fire and fuel... Well you get the point. Google Now Integrates nicely and when you get used to it, you'll find it difficult to get without it."

III) 12.70 cm (5) HD IPS Display

Quoted in the Xolo Website :

"Watch your favourite movies or pictures on this scintillating 12.70 cm (5) HD 294 PPI (Pixels Per Inch) IPS Display."

What I Think :

"5 inch is just the right size for a smartphone - Not too small and clumsy ; Not too big and awkward. It fits nicely in your palm and is designed for 1 hand operation. You feel in heaven while watching a film in the phone due to the HD screen combined with the extraordinary sound quality coming out of the speakers. You get so engrossed playing games. The colours are so vivid and alive, You just can't stop enjoying yourself."

IV) 8 MP Camera with BSI

Quoted in the Xolo Website :

"Take brilliant and sharp images with 8 MP Rear and 1.2 MP Front Camera. Equipped with BSI sensors expect excellent images even in low-light conditions."

What I Think :

"The cameras really live up to what's expected from them. Low light pictures are great, and daytime pictures are alive with colours. Videos look amazing and the sound they emit while playing is Fantastic. I've attached a few photos for you to look"

V) Powerfull Battery

Quoted in the Xolo Website :

"Do more and charge less with the long-lasting and hassle-free 2100 mAh battery."

What I Think :

"The 2100 mAH battery may not seem impressive to you but still, I am a power user and this battery lasts for about 2 days. WiFi is continuously on, I play lots of games, I read books on the phone, I watch movies, I surf the net, etc. etc. I have to say, the battery's worth it."

Conclusion

I can't force anyone into any decision making, and it's best if you check out the full list of specs from any site and decide for yourself. However, I'm pretty satisfied from the phone and I have to say, It's worth the deal.
